Harford County Deputy Sheriff's Benevolent Fund
The Benevolent Fund is a non-profit charitable organization that the Harford County Deputy Sheriff’s Union formed in 2006 for the sole purpose of collecting donations and providing the infrastructure to give money from this fund to Police, Firefighters and EMS personnel in our area in their time of need.
To date the fund has donated well over $20,000 to Police Officers and Firefighters in their time of need. As Harford County grows in size the opportunities that our Police, Firefighters and EMS personnel may be put in harms way grows and we must be in a position to financially assist the injured or survivors and their families.
Every year the Deputy Sheriff’s Union hosts several charitable events for the purpose of making money for the Benevolent Fund. Among those events are:
- Annual Golf Tournament & Dinner Dance
- Annual Bull Roast & Crab Feast
- Harford County Farm Fair Dunk a Cop Dunking Booth
