President

Kevin Thomas

Kevin has been a member of the HCDSU since 1991. Kevin was elected to the HCDSU Executive Board in 2006. He was also a member of the Bel Air Police Union, also an IUPA affiliate, from 1989 to 1991. Having been involved with both Unions, he is aware of the struggles that the HCDSU went through in order to become the voice that it is today. He believes that the professional voice of the membership provides better service to the community. The spirit of fairness and cooperation is the success of the HCDSU.

Chris Gibbons

Chris has been an active member of HCDSU since 1998. Over the years he has served on the By-laws and Entertainment Committees, chairing the Entertainment Committee since 2006. His committee is responsible for several highly successful fundraisers and events that benifit the Benevolent Fund. Chris was elected to the Executive Board in 2006 and was then elected as Union Vice President in 2010.

Treasurer

Tony Boer

Tony has been a member of the Harford County Deputy Sheriff's Union for since 1996. In 1999 he ran for and was elected to the position of Union Treasurer. Not only does Tony keep the Union's financial affairs in order but he is also the Treasurer for the Harford County Deputy Sheriff's Political Action Committee (PAC).

Executive Board Members:

Scott Rowe

Scott has been a member of the HCDSU since 2008 and a law enforcement officer for 27 years, while still an active member of Baltimore FOP Lodge 3. Scott wishes to utilize his experience and knowledge in order to represent the HCDSU in a positive light. Scott believes that any task or goal can be accomplished through cooperation, mutual respect, and professionalism.

Mark Logsdon

Mark has been a member of the HCDSU since 1999. Mark has recently decided to take a more direct and active role in Union functions so he ran for and was elected to the HCDSU Exectutive Board in 2010. He is happy and honored to be a part of an organization that represents all the members of the HCDSU and has a desire to see more members come out and support their union's events.

Mike Lane

Mike has been a member of the HCDSU since 1997. He has served on both the By-Laws Committee and Entertainment Committee. Mike wished to take a more active role in the HCDSU and was elected to the Executive Board in 2012. Mike hopes to work with Board members and Union members to achieve the goals that have been identified by its members. His desire is to see more Union support and involvement by the members of the HCDSU and wants to work to address the issues which are brought up by the membership.
